Meet Our Owner
Owner/Operator Cheri Sorrell is an Idaho native from Jerome. Growing up, during the summer, Cheri mowed lawns for her Family's landscaping company and painted houses for a non-profit organization. She gained interest in the maintenance field by watching her Dad, who was a handyman himself, build an extension onto their house. After graduating from Jerome High in 2006, she relocated to Boise ID to begin her journey into becoming the Handy"women" she is today. She's worked at Owyhee Plaza Hotel for 2 1/2 years as maintenance, KIT Homebuilders west for 3 years building manufactured homes and Edgewater Apartments for 6 1/2 years, as a maintenance technician. During her employment at Edgewater, Cheri received an award for Maintenance Technician of the year for both 2018 and 2019 through the Idaho Apartment association as well as a Maintenance All Star award from her employer in in 2018. Between her Attention to detail and high quality of work, Cheri has become unstoppable in the handyman world! She takes pride in her work and genuinely cares for her clients and their concerns.

I moved to ID in 2/2021, initially moving into Edgewater Apartments, which is where I met Cheri. She 's always up-beat, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about maintenance and repairs, and the only technician at Edgewater that you could rely on to respond to your work request and make the necessary repairs, competently, in a timely fashion. In October, 2021, I bought a house in Boise, and was smart enough to bring Cheri along to walk-through the property with me. She was so helpful pointing out all the current & potential issues and provided great explanations and estimates cost of immediate repairs, etc. Because of the information Cheri provided, I was able to negotiate a lower offer price, which was accepted. Since moving into my new house, I've used Cheri exclusively on every single, solid repair and improvement, and will continue to do so til the end of time. She's awesome. There really is no one better! In addition to her skills/knowledge/ experience, once you meet Cheri, you can't help but like her. She's got a great attitude and ton's of energy. She really cares about her clients and making sure that any and all repairs/restoration are done to perfection. She has very high standards. Once you've worked with Cheri, you will inevitably become friends. I can't recommend her enough!
